Supply chain

A supply chain is usually a network of entities that was created between a company and its suppliers to produce and distribute a specific product to the end consumer.

Moreover the supply chain also represents the steps taken to get the product or service from its original state to the customer.

That means it comprises vendors that supply the raw material, the producers who convert the material into products, warehouses that store the products, the distribution centers that deliver to the retailers, and the retailers who bring the product to the ultimate user.

Supply chains play a big role because without them no producer has the ability to give customers what they want, when and where they want, at the price they want.
