Also known as environmental or eco-marketing, it is the promotion of products or the process of selling products that are environmentally safe, it also incorporates a spectrum of activities such as product modification, changes in the production process along with modified advertising.

This new marketing approach seeks to challenge and change the existing marketing.

Moreover green marketing means that producers use eco friendly processes in production like recycling water, reducing carbon dioxide emissions or renewable energy.

This comes due to the change in the buyerʼs attitude toward the quality of the environment and shows the preoccupation with the community lifestyle.
